My recent business trip to Stellenbosch brought me to Eikendal Lodge, a delightful hotel chosen by my director. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning grounds and warm hospitality. The highlight for me was the year-round outdoor pool, which provided a refreshing dip after a long day of meetings. The sun terrace was also a fantastic feature, offering a serene spot to relax and soak up the South African sun.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

Had a blast picking grapes and tasting wine in the wine cellar! Ate like royalty at Giovanni's Restaurant. Complimentary Wi-Fi, gift shops, and a cozy fireplace in the lobby. Went kayaking and rafting, because why not? The gardens and pool were stunning.
Toilet and shower were practically best buddies in the bathroom. Such genius design!

Great service and friendly staff, always willing to assist. Lovely breakfast with a wide variety of options. Convenient location close to vineyards and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area during leisure time.
Price was a bit high compared to other accommodations in the region. Room furnishings could have been more upscale.

I chose this hotel for attending a forum and was pleased to find that they provided amenities like irons/ironing boards upon request. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was attentive in fulfilling my room requirements. it enhanced my professional experience during my stay.
One service that I missed for my work was a business center or a dedicated workspace. It would have been great to have a designated area where I could have worked on my presentations and documents more comfortably.

The suite at Eikendal Lodge was absolutely stunning! The views of the mountains and garden were breathtaking and made me feel like I was in paradise. As someone who loves spacious rooms, this suite was a dream come true. It had everything I needed, including a fridge and a private bathroom. The free toiletries and hair dryer added a nice touch of luxury. Plus, the air conditioning kept me cool and comfortable throughout my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better room!
Personally, I found the free WiFi at Eikendal Lodge to be a bit slow. However, I understand that others may not have the same issue and could still enjoy their internet usage.
